The birth of the DAL can be traced back to 1908. During the past century, the DAL has had track record of making vital contributions to the local advertising community. Throughout our history, the League has worked with local advertising and city leaders to further the business of advertising and to provide personal and professional developments opportunities for their members.

The Dallas Ad League is a locally affiliated chapter of the American Advertising Federation; the only professional advertising association that binds the mutual interests of corporate advertisers, agencies, media companies, suppliers and academia. The AAF's 50,000 members share a commitment to make advertising a positive force in America's economy and culture.

I have a bunch of old newsletters from the Dallas Art Directors Club. Mostly from the mid 70s. There are some with stipple work that Bill Jenkins actually did himself. Now that's vintage. I have been meaning to scan them in and post them up, they are pretty interesting.
